Electric Hook-ups!
Something that will make the life of any good Campervaner easier is electric hook-up for the duration of your stay. It’ll allow you to keep the beers and barbecue food chilled without the hassle of lugging around the old generator keeping it fueled up for the weekend!
- You’ll be allocated a 9 x 9m camping pitch where the power supply will be live from the moment gates open until racing finishes on the last day of the event.
- Electric hookup pitchs are in the campsites, on grass, and in a designated location.
- Electric hook up power supply is provided through a 16-amp single phase CeeForm female socket.
- Campers who purchase electric hook up are required to provide a minimum of 25-metre outdoor grade cable with 16a single phase CeeForm socket.
- All electricals brought on to site should be PAT tested, all connections subject to inspection and removal if found to be damaged or faulty.
- Electric Hook-up pitches can be purchased in the Ticket Shop. Availability is limited. Deadline is 5pm on the Friday 1 week before the event.
Disabled Camping Area
This camping area is a dedicated area for disabled customers who have restricted mobility and is located close to a toilet block with disabled toilet/external sink and fresh water point. It is also the closest camping area to the medical centre. Anyone wanting to stay in this area must pre-register by emailing boxoffice@santapod.com. Customers should also pre-purchase the relevant admission tickets in accordance with our ticket concession policy – full details can be found at www.santapod.co.uk/accessibility.php.
NB: Along with yourself and PA/carer you can have an additional two other people camp with you in this field. Max: 2 x camping pitches. Disabled campers who wish to camp as part of a larger group may not use this area due to restriction on available space.
Camping Information
General information for those camping at Bug Jam.
- CAMPING SPACE & LARGER VEHICLES: If your camping space is considered excessive by the campsite stewards, the organisers reserve the right to reduce the size of the area you have taken up. Please be sensible in this respect to avoid any inconvenience with your set up. The contents of larger vehicles will be checked and noted on arrival for non-camping related items. If you are bringing sofas and similar furniture items to Bug Jam you must take these items away with you when you leave site.
- NO SPACE SAVING: Campers will no longer be able to save space for friends arriving at a later time. Large groups should book club camping pitches, and small groups should aim to arrive together.
- EXIT & RE-ENTRY GUIDE: Bug Jam is one of Santa Pod’s busiest and most popular events in the calendar and we have a large number of visitors using rural routes through our neighbouring villages. To relieve our local communities of unnecessary traffic during the event, Bug Jam operates a strict re-entry policy to minimise disruption: visitors choosing to leave the venue anytime during the weekend will need to pay to re-enter the venue even if they have already purchased a ticket. So, please bring all of the camping supplies that you will need for the weekend including enough petrol/diesel! Your continued cooperation in this matter is always appreciated and keeps the Bug Jam vibe alive.
